Obligatory Post

Since Sarah sent out that hateful email that we need to post here, I am. I suppose a few things have happened recently that are worth mentioning.

I'll be graduating in May. That makes this my final semester of my undergraduate career. I'm taking a marketing management that is a marketing capstone course. Basically the whole term is forming a marketing plan for a company. We do the whole thing, the advertising, the budgeting, the research, the testing, all of it. I'm pretty excited for that. I'm also taking a capstone management course. We do an online game where we're in charge of a company and we have to make all the decisions. We decide everything from pricing to where to manufacture to how much to train our employees to how involved in the community we are. I'm also in an economics course called decision modeling. It's basically using Excel to build spreadsheets to make models of stuff. I'm pretty good at that stuff, so that's why I signed up for it. I didn't know it when I signed up, but apparently it's one of the toughest classes offered through the business school. The teacher said we'd have two or three assignments a week and that they should take us about three hours each. Yeehaw. Oh well, I'm ready to rock. I'm also in a finance class that deals with financial institutions and markets. It's very interesting and looks to be very useful. Plus the teacher is the best teacher I've ever had. My last class is a market research class. Looks fun and interesting.
So all in all, this will be a very difficult semester but a good one.

As you guys know, I didn't get married. That has been more difficult than I could ever have imagined. I was not prepared to deal with the depression that has brought. I've wondered many times if Miranda and I will ever be able to be happy again. Things are getting better though, we're on the way out of that funk. We still haven't set a new date, and we probably won't for a while. Frankly, I don't know when it will be.

So that's what's up with me.
