Tanner vs The Ocean
I took this video with my phone at our family reunion last summer in California. I don't know what happened to the audio, which is a bummer. I also don't know why I haven't posted it until now. Tanner and I were just walking out on the beach, waiting for the waves to come in and get our feet a little wet. We got an unexpected surprise though.

January 12 - Two Act Dream
Act I
There is a reason I have never watched “Snakes on a plane” before. It just doesn’t sound right to call it entertainment when you are menaced by snakes and you can’t get away from them. Let me tell you it is even worse in real (dream-land) life. We were on our way to a motorcycle competition, presumably to
The next day I was off to the motorcycle rally and competition. It was not at a large event center but rather at the cultural hall in the church. It was pretty crowded with all the participants and the spectators were circled around the edges sitting on folding chairs – sort of like the old youth dances. It wasn’t very exciting because the goal was to ride around the “course” with washcloths and towels stacked on each cycle’s gas tank until all had fallen off. The one with at least one remaining was the winner.
