Have you thought about making your neighbors think their house is haunted? It starts with rigging the physical manifestations...speakers in the house to send out barely-audible moans, a bypass for their cable system so you can display static-y ghostly images on their TV, hydraulic jumpers under their bed to toss them out of a sound sleep, and blood pumps hooked up to pinhole plates in the walls to make them appear to "bleed."
Follow it all up with supporting evidence. I'd start with creating a web site listing haunted house in the Salt Lake valley (the domain www.hauntedhappyvalley.com is available), making their house show up in the top 5 "most haunted places" in Utah. It may be fun to call the Utah Ghost Organization http://www.utahghost.org/ and ask them to come investigate because you're getting weird vibes from your neighbor's home...
