Year in Photos

A friend of mine sent me this link, and I thought it was amazing. It's a three-part review of 2008 in photos. Some of these shots are so absolutely incredible, I can't believe anyone was there to capture them. Be advised, some of them are graphic and even gruesome, so it's not for kids. But I think it's important to see these photos, even the ones that aren't too savory. There is a lot happening out there in the world, and even though these photos attempt to show that, there's just too much to handle. This made me appreciate even more the wonderful blessing that it is for all of us to live in such a blessed land where we are both free and safe.

    thanks for the reference. it did remind me of how blessed we are to live in a safe place. the photos are amazing! mom

    Wow. Thanks for that. It really, truly moved me to tears. It's crazy to see so much sadness and so much beauty in one set of pictures. It's amazing how some people are forced to live when we have such an over abundance of wealth here.Crazy.
